i think the argument for masking vaccinated people comes from breakthrough infections such as that are being seeing in Massachusetts… but i think it’s far more likely that we are getting user error among our overworked and deeply traumatized medical system with these delicate vaccines that can only go so long at a certain temperature. at so many points in how they travel through the production system do they have to be delicately maintained at all times and these are new processes and we are globally stressed out and overworked.
I wonder if Biden could still do a federal vaccine verification system, just not mandate it but give access to businesses and organizations so they can determine vaccine status rules and have a legit resource to tap into for verifying it. (and have them pass more legislation to make it easier for places to do so without facing lawsuits in return).
it also helps make it so folks aren’t uploading their vax card everytime they want to do business.
